Why attend?
- Gain strategic insights from international leaders, including Laura Cozzi (Director of Sustainability, Technology and Outlooks at the International Energy Agency).
- Explore breakthrough innovations at the Clean Tech Innovation Market. Meet start-ups, student teams, and research groups turning science into real-world impact.
- Engage directly with researchers and explore opportunities for collaboration, funding, and applied research partnerships.
- Network with peers and decision-makers shaping the next phase of Europe’s clean industrial transition.
- Be inspired by success stories and visionary perspectives. These range from cutting-edge science to Olympic-level leadership in innovation, as shared by Marit Bouwmeester during the closing keynote.
Programme highlights
- Keynote by Laura Cozzi (Director of Sustainable Development and Technology at the International Energy Agency)
- Breakout sessions:
- Transitioning to an integrated hydrogen-energy system: join this techno-socio-economic session to hear about the latest developments and insights towards a new energy system. How can we integrate hydrogen into the energy systems? What are feasible transition paths?
- With presentations by Arnaud Wyers (TotalEnergies), Eugen Popa (TU Delft) and Devin Diran and Thomas Hajonides van der Meulen (TNO Vector)
- Enabling Green Chemistry: this session focuses on unravelling the impact of using alternative raw materials in industrial clusters and working towards the first large-scale production and storage hub for renewable (aviation) fuels.
- With presentations by Andrea Ramírez Ramirez (TU Delft), Rajat Bhardwaj (Power2X) and Mark Schmets (ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy)
- Accelerating Large-scale Hydrogen Usage: this session is all about large-scale hydrogen usage. Can we unlock demand by considering green hydrogen use for making end products rather than intermediates, and what are the expectations for mobility? And what role does innovation in the Port of Rotterdam play?
- With presentations by Frits de Groot (VNO NCW), Prof. Arvind Gangoli Rao (TU Delft) and Marjolein Hulsebosch (Port of Rotterdam)
- Lunch at the Clean Tech Innovation Market
- Collaboration sessions:
- Start-up Innovation Session – from start-up to scale-up
- Ideation Labs Workshop – turning research into impact
- Hydrogen-integrated Energy Systems
- Energy Transition technology
